It is an honor to share the story of Mark Mortimer—husband, father, friend, and the inspiration behind the Integrative Access Foundation.
Mark was diagnosed with cancer in December 2024, and faced his illness the same way he lived his life: with courage, determination, humor, faith, and an incredible desire to keep moving forward. He researched tirelessly, advocated for himself, and pursued every avenue of healing available to him.
Through his journey, Mark discovered that access to integrative and unconventional treatment options were not always easy to find—or afford. He believed that every patient deserved the same access to information and care that he had fought so hard to obtain.
The Integrative Access Foundation was born from that belief. It is our promise to carry Mark's spirit forward—to ensure that no patient faces their journey alone, and that hope, healing, and whole-person care are within reach for all.
