Mark’s cancer diagnosis didn’t just change his life—it changed the way our family understood care, choice, and what it truly means to heal.

Like so many families, we were suddenly thrust into a world of medical appointments, treatment plans, and overwhelming decisions. The conventional path was clear, structured, and immediate. But as Mark began treatment, we realized that what was missing was just as important as what was offered: informed choice, whole-person support, and access to integrative options that addressed more than the disease alone.

Mark approached his diagnosis with courage and curiosity. He wanted to understand his options—not just what was standard, but what was possible. That search led us beyond our local resources and eventually to Arizona, where Mark pursued integrative care alongside conventional treatment. There, we experienced a model of healing that considered the body, mind, and spirit together—one that emphasized nutrition, mental and emotional well-being, advanced therapies, and individualized care.

The benefits were profound. Mark felt supported as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. But the experience also revealed a painful truth: access to integrative and unconventional care is often limited by geography, cost, and lack of information. We were fortunate to find our way—but many patients never get the chance.

Throughout Mark’s journey, we met countless others who wanted more options but didn’t know where to turn, couldn’t afford the care, or were told their questions didn’t belong in traditional settings. The gap was clear, and it was deeply personal.

Integrative Access was born from this experience.

This foundation exists to ensure that cancer patients are not confined to a single path simply because of barriers beyond their control. We believe patients deserve transparency, education, and support when exploring integrative and unconventional care options. Healing should not be dictated by access alone.
